Riley and Cross take Top Spots

Summer ABT League, Round One

The first round of the Sadler Agricultural Supplies ABT league was held at Meary Veg Santon in bright sun shine making picking the targets up very difficult
The leader by a country mile after the first round was Mark Riley with 22 with Rob Watterson in second place on 17 followed by Calum Craine in third place on 16.

Riley was still in the lead after round two on 43 with Craine now second on 35 with Watterson now third on 34. It was status Quo after round three but Rily’s lead was now cut to six points. Round four saw the biggest turn round with Riley only managing to score 14 to finish on 75 but was still good enough to take first place. Finishing in second place was Phil Ward who equalled the best score of the day ,22 to finish in second place on 70 pushing Craine into third place on 69.

Summer Olympic Skeet League, Round 1

The first round of the Manx Petroleum’s Olympic Skeet league was also held at the same time as the ABT .

The leader after the first round was Stan Cross with 21 points with son Michael and Ted Davis in equal second place on 18. Stan Cross was still the lead after round two on 39 but only by one point from Michael on 38 with Jeff Corkill now third on 36. Stan Cross was still in the lead after round three on 58 ,but we had a tie for second place between Michael Cross and Jeff Corkill on 57. Michael saved the best to last hitting a 23 to take the high gun prize with 80 points, in second place on 56 was Stan Cross with Giulio Fabrizio sneaking into third place on 74 .
