It was all to shoot for in the last round to see who went forward to the final and it could not have been tighter with a three way tie for first place between Stan and Michael Cross and Rachael Bowen Matthews on 94 and James Simpson and Paul Mihailovits on 93. Just as the final got under way the weather turned with wind, rain and misty conditions for the shooters to contend with but it made no difference to Paul Mihailovits has he went on to hit his third straight of the day to take the Championship with 118 points with James Simpson in second place on 116 and the Cross boys in equal third place on 115.
